About me
Vishal Kumar Meena received the B.Tech degree (2018) in electrical engineering along with a departmental specialization in VLSI and embedded systems from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Delhi (IIT-D), India, where his research was focused on CMOS image sensor design.
Since 2018, he has been working at Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Trivandrum, India, as a Scientist/Engineer, where he is responsible for the design, development, and qualification of the power processing units for electric propulsion systems. His current research activities focus on high-power soft-switching DC-DC converters for space applications, GaNFET based high power density converters, control electronics for electro-mechanical actuators and pressure regulators, discharge filter design for hall-effect thrusters, and machine learning assisted power electronics design and quality assessment.
